About the Role
The CT Technologist performs advanced technical and patient care procedures using a multi-slice CT scanner, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety through independent judgment. Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, administering contrast agents, starting IVs, and providing excellent patient communication and care. The role also involves performing diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures as needed, contributing to a team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Completion of a formal radiologic technology program
- Washington Radiologic Technologist certification (upon hire)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- National Registered Technologist in Radiography (upon hire)
- Within one year, obtain CT certification or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, including at least one year in a CT department
