CT Technologist and/or Hybrid (CT/X-Ray)-Inpatient and Outpatient-Full Time, Part Time & PRN-Sign On Bonus Potential

Location: Inpatient (Mary Washington Hospital and Stafford Hospital) and Outpatient (various facilities through the Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, King George, and Stafford areas)

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT exams and/or hybrid (CT/X-Ray) imaging procedures.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure high-quality results.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment.

Requirements

CT Technologist

• ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology and/or NMTCB (CNMT) registered.
• Documented training in the provision of diagnostic CT exams.
• Advanced-level certification by ARRT or NMTCB in computed tomography required within one year of hire.
• Minimum of three months of experience in CT scan.
• American Heart Association CPR certification.

CT/X-Ray (Hybrid) Technologist

• Completion of an accredited two-year program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology with documented training in diagnostic CT exams.
• Advanced-level certification by ARRT or NMTCB in computed tomography required within one year of hire.
• VA State Radiologic Technologist License required for all outpatient facilities.
• American Heart Association CPR certification.

Physical Requirements

• Constant (67-100% of workday) use of arms and hands.
• Frequent (34-66% of workday) standing, walking, and sitting.
• Occasional (0-33% of workday) bending and squatting.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs.
• Ability to push and pull up to 20 lbs.
• Auditory and visual skills, including color determination.

• Capacity to cope with difficult situations and tolerate irregular hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends.

Environmental Requirements and Exposure Hazards

• Risk of exposure to radiation and toxic chemicals.
• Potential for exposure to bloodborne pathogens; must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
• For MRI Associates: Must complete MRI Associate screening and be approved to work in the MRI environment (Zones 3 & 4).

Pay

• PRN Flat Rate: $51.00 per hour
• Full Time/Part Time Pay Range: $39.44 - $59.15 per hour
