Responsibilities

• Specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients.
• Perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Demonstrate ability to perform advanced CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular).
• Be competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology.
• Provide more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program
• Work Experience: 1 year of CT experience
• Licenses and Certifications:
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) (CT)
  • CT - Computed Tomography Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT)
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support
