CT Tech (Reg), PRN

About the role

We are looking for CT Techs to join our outgoing and dynamic Imaging Department. Our team is committed to making the patient's experience a 10 out of 10. You will be given autonomy and become the patient's number one resource and advocate while performing CT procedures and assisting radiologists at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scanning procedures and related quality control monitoring as assigned.
• Conduct CT scans of various anatomy of the body to produce clinically diagnostic images to assist physicians in diagnosing disease and injuries.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Perform CT scans on newborn, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Maintain availability and sterility of supplies used for assigned area.
• Operate CT equipment, develop films, and prepare the CT room for procedures.

Requirements

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• CT Registry preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test, including bending, stooping, standing, and sitting for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Work is fast-paced; requires visual acuity, hearing, stooping, reaching, and kneeling.
• Average physical demands involve moving/transporting patients, lifting accessory equipment, and pushing wheelchairs or stretchers.
