About the role

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. They perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. They provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program
• Required Work Experience: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist
• Licenses and Certifications: ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R), BCLS - Basic Life Support
