About the role

The Diagnostic/CT Technologist plays a crucial role in the radiologic care provided to patients. This position involves operating diagnostic radiographic and CT equipment to ensure optimal imaging results with minimal radiation exposure. Additionally, the technologist is responsible for ensuring patient well-being and safety during their stay in the Radiology Department.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic radiographic and CT equipment to obtain optimal radiographs and CT scans
• Afford optimal patient care and comfort
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum Education: On-the-job training
• Experience: On-the-job training
• Licenses: ARRT Certification and ARRT Certification in CT required; California permit in Radiologic Technology required; Fluoroscopy required for certain locations; BLS required
• Training: Venipuncture documentation of training required within one year of hire; competency in venipuncture demonstrated if required

Qualifications

• Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills required
