About the role

Responsibilities
- Performs routine radiographs and minimally invasive procedures under the direction of a radiologist.
- Applies prescribed ionizing radiation to obtain a radiologic diagnosis.
- Follows the principles and guidelines set forth by the American College of Radiology.
- Performs a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and ingenuity.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent.
- Satisfactory completion of formal radiological training in an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Acute care experience preferred, but new graduates will be considered.
- Registered by and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- State License through the Florida Bureau of Radiation Control is mandatory.
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR/BLS certification required.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
