About the Role

Shift: 8-hour day shift (40 hours per week), 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM. On-call and callback requirements with an 8-week rotation (discussed in interview). Weekend rotation: every 4th weekend. Holiday requirements: per unit needs. No floating requirements.

Department averages 50-75 patients per day. Patient types and common diagnoses include ED, inpatient, outpatient, stroke, chest, procedural, and trauma.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required (3 years preferred)
• Will accept a first-time traveler if well qualified
• Required certifications and licenses:
  • BLS
  • RT (R)(CT)
  • IEMA
• Skills required: IV starts, stroke and chest pain workups, trauma

Department Support & Technology

• 24/7 support within the department:
  • Hospitalist
  • Intensivist
  • Trauma team
• EMR: Epic
• Department-specific equipment: Client CT scanners (experience required)

Orientation & Scheduling

• Orientation: NEO (New Employee Orientation)
• Precepted shifts: 1 week
• Schedule cycle: 8 weeks
