About the role

The CT Scan Tech / Radiology (R) position at CHS Travel involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography technology. This includes preparing patients for scans, positioning them correctly, operating the equipment, and processing images for medical professionals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT scans, ensuring they are comfortable and informed.
• Position patients correctly for scanning, ensuring accurate image quality.
• Operate CT scan equipment safely and efficiently.
• Process and review CT scan images, providing detailed reports to physicians.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations during the scanning process.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in radiologic technology or related field preferred.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Physical stamina for standing and moving throughout the day.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices.

Skills

• Proficiency with CT scan equipment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
