About the Team
UT Health Pittsburg offers 25 private rooms, a 24-hour Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center, surgical suites, advanced diagnostics, a sleep lab, swing bed care, 16 physician offices, and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness facility.
Responsibilities
- Performs CT studies/procedures for patients of all ages (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) utilizing ionizing radiation and treatment of disease.
- Functions under the general supervision of the CT supervisor and in cooperation with the radiologists.
- Subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Associate degree in Radiography from an accredited college
- Upon completion of an accredited radiology program, the employee will have 90 days to become ARRT registered and licensed through the Texas Medical Board.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Qualifications
- 2 years as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (Preferred)
- CT Experience (Preferred)
