About the Role

As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions. Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.

To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT scans, general x-rays, radiology, and CT procedures, as well as assists in the OR as needed.
• Performs routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic radiology exams of high quality.
• Provides for patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Practices radiation safety during exams in keeping with ALARA principle.
• Applies hand hygiene standards at all times.

Requirements

• OBMI Radiography License
• ARRT Rad Tech and CT Registry
• AHA BLS within 30 days
