About the role

The incumbent produces diagnostic CT scans, assists the radiologist in diagnostic CT scan procedures, ensures patient care, and represents Renown Health System's vision and mission.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily workflow and assist in the throughput of ER, in-patients, and outpatients.
  • Maintain current CPR certification and participate in mandatory in-services.
  • Operate and maintain current knowledge of in-house CT scanning and contrast injecting equipment.
  • Provide optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and exam evaluation of neonatal, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and families.
  • Operate a variety of sophisticated CT imaging units and image storage systems.
  • Manage appropriate care prioritizations with rapidly changing volumes.
  • Cooperate with the CT department on a daily basis and provide strategic planning input for future departmental direction.

Requirements

  • Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • 2 years of clinical diagnostic radiographic experience preferred.
  • American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT(R)) certification upon hire, and AART (CT) Registry within 12 months upon hire.
  • Nevada state license for Medical Radiography.
  • AHA BLS certification within 60 days upon hire.

Qualifications

  • Must possess or be able to obtain within 90 days the necessary computers skills to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
