About the role
The position involves performing computerized tomographic (CT) procedures to assist in diagnosing diseases and injuries, following radiologist-established protocols. The role requires executing at least three specialized procedures, such as biopsies, TAVR, coronary scans, extremity work for OR planning, ablations, or fiducial placements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients accurately, select appropriate technical parameters.
- Administer contrast media and medications within scope and regulations.
- Monitor patients during procedures, report abnormalities, and follow safety protocols.
- Maintain radiation safety and perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Completion of Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy program.
- Certification in CT and relevant ARRT or NMTCB credentials; BLS certification.
- No prior experience required.
Skills
Strong attention to safety, patient care, and technical accuracy.
Schedule
PRN schedule, day shift.
