CT Dual Modality Contract $63/hr
Job Description
Performs all exams using established protocols, ensuring proper patient identification and education prior to the exam.
Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, monitors, and medical equipment, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.
Screens patients of childbearing age and minimizes radiation exposure to patients, families, and co-workers, while practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
Positions patients and equipment, selects technical factors, and produces radiographic images that meet Radiologist’s standards in a safe and timely manner.
Performs clerical duties such as answering telephones, completing patient records, filing, and scheduling.
Provides direct patient care within the technologist’s scope of practice, utilizing proper infection control techniques.
Maintains a properly stocked, organized, and clean room.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills to perform scans on patients of all ages.
Screens patients for any contrast allergies. Adapts imaging protocols as necessary.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
Associate's [Required] High School Grad or Equiv [Required] Field Of Study Associate's from an AMA approved school of radiologic technology or JCERT accreditation
