CST Tool Install Engineer

About the role

TSMC Arizona is looking for a CST Tool Install Engineer to join our 5-nanometer fab in Phoenix, Arizona. As part of the Central Startup Team (CST), you will be responsible for fab module tool installation, start-up hookup planning, and facility design.

Responsibilities

• Gas, chemical, and electricity hookup installation for semiconductor tools.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in semiconductor equipment installation procedures.
• Accountable for executing projects, including scheduling, planning, and conducting project meetings.
• Trace project progress, monitor status, and summarize key messages.
• Prepare reporting with quality and timely delivery.
• Communicate effectively with various cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field).
• Knowledge of hookup technical skills and experience in Facility engineering or Fab start-up; trades management experience is preferred.
• Strong technical ability, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex equipment problems and address root causes.
• Disciplined approach to work with a focus on activities that drive significant positive impact for the department.
• Willingness to innovate and create new ideas that make a difference.
• Excellent cross-team communication skills.
