Promptly respond to customer quote requests

  • Navigate out quote generation process involving contributions from pricing, scheduling, engineering, and quality teams.
  • Facilitate reviews and responses from pricing, scheduling, engineering, and quality teams.
  • Maintain communication with customer supplier websites and respond promptly to RFQs, POs, and other requests.
  • Provide prompt responses to customer inquiries regarding order status, delivery dates, and expedited production.
  • Notify customers proactively when an order is about to ship or when it will be delayed.
  • Effectively manage all forms of customer communication, ensuring professionalism and accuracy in written communications.

Coordinate with accounting

  • Establish customer credit, invoice, and resolve past due balances.

Other duties

  • Drive the company's vision and adhere to organizational values.

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficient computer skills.
  • Effective operation of customer service-related systems and software programs.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Procedural training facilitation and dispute resolution ability.
  • Good temperament to handle customer and internal issues, including emergencies.
  • Fluent typist.
