Promptly respond to customer quote requests
- Navigate out quote generation process involving contributions from pricing, scheduling, engineering, and quality teams.
- Facilitate reviews and responses from pricing, scheduling, engineering, and quality teams.
- Maintain communication with customer supplier websites and respond promptly to RFQs, POs, and other requests.
- Provide prompt responses to customer inquiries regarding order status, delivery dates, and expedited production.
- Notify customers proactively when an order is about to ship or when it will be delayed.
- Effectively manage all forms of customer communication, ensuring professionalism and accuracy in written communications.
Coordinate with accounting
- Establish customer credit, invoice, and resolve past due balances.
Other duties
- Drive the company's vision and adhere to organizational values.
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficient computer skills.
- Effective operation of customer service-related systems and software programs.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Procedural training facilitation and dispute resolution ability.
- Good temperament to handle customer and internal issues, including emergencies.
- Fluent typist.
