About the role

Birkdale Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate, organized, and customer-focused Veterinary Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join their team in Huntersville, NC.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients warmly, both in person and over the phone
• Schedule appointments and manage the daily appointment calendar
• Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries via phone, email, and text
• Check clients in and out efficiently while processing payments accurately
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records within the practice management system
• Provide information about hospital services, wellness plans, policies, and procedures
• Collaborate with veterinarians and support staff to ensure seamless communication and outstanding patient care
• Absorb and assist in resolving client concerns with empathy and professionalism
• Absorb and assist in supporting daily front desk operations and helping maintain a clean, organized reception area

Requirements

• Previous customer service or veterinary reception experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn veterinary software systems
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
