Job Responsibilities
Provides helpful, efficient, customer service to each client in a respectful and compassionate manner.
Interviews clients to obtain information according to program policies/procedures and provides confidentiality at all times.
Enters data quickly, accurately and efficiently with minimal errors. Processes client's needs and requests according to policy.
Schedules appointments according to procedures.
Initiates, maintains and updates client charts in accordance with clinic needs.
Attends staff meetings and training necessary to perform job effectively.
Provides other customer service and clerical support duties to clinic as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- 12 months of experience handling customer's questions, complaints and/or providing information
- Previous experience working with WIC program or Public Health
- One or more years of experience in a clerical or office assistant role in a medical office/clinic
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and basic data entry
