Youth Ministry in Communion (YMIC) was established in 2021 and has since been pioneering collaborative and sacramental youth ministry. The network exists to support churches in developing vibrant and sustainable youth ministry, while also contributing resources and expertise.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with local church leaders to develop and implement youth ministry programs that foster spiritual growth and community building.
• Support and encourage young people in their faith journey through regular one-on-one meetings and group activities.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in youth ministry.
• Represent YMIC at various events and conferences to promote our mission and collaborate with other youth ministry leaders.

Requirements

• A strong commitment to Christian faith and values.
• Experience in youth ministry or related field is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for working with young people and a desire to make a positive impact in their lives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in leading youth groups or similar roles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The typical work week is 40 hours, with flexible scheduling to accommodate the needs of the youth ministry and the individual.
