CSfC Sr. Network Engineer
Responsibilities
Affords assistance to the Project Manager in managing Network Engineers on a daily basis. Requires a deep understanding of advanced networking O&M Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) concepts and processes, applied independently with minimal supervision. Must be capable of offering guidance to others. Must be adept at handling complex, undefined scenarios. Proficient in multi-vendor networking environments, including configurations of firewalls, Intrusion Prevention/Detection systems, VPN gateways, routers, and switches (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Cisco ASA, etc.). Develops and modifies system scripts. Writes standardized system documentation, such as configuration guides, test procedures, test results, and training materials. Provides on-site training to technical and non-technical users on the proper use, management, and troubleshooting of the solution post-installation. Supports all Cross-Domain solution requirements. Collaborates with other operations departments to design approved infrastructure. Serves as the escalation point during major outages for Tier 2 and 3 systems. Authors network Engineering Design Packages, which include detailed implementation project plans and procedures. Configures network, software, and hardware components to meet NSA CSfC, NIAP, and DoD requirements. Designs, develops, implements, tests, and maintains complex secure communications networks. Configures and manages PKI Certificate Authorities for CSfC solutions. Familiarity with Certificate Authority configuration (ISC CertAgent/MS Windows Server/Red Hat Certificate systems). Documents configuration, test procedure, results, and training materials according to customer standards. Provides customer on-site training on solution daily use, management, and troubleshooting. Provides tier 2 and 3 support as part of a technical team. Identifies and recommends hardware and support solutions based on research and analysis of new technologies, interfacing with customers and vendors. Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishments and exploring opportunities to add value to the company. Applies DoD STIGs and IAVAs. Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Top Secret OR Higher OR Secret Clearance level with completed T5 investigation
- Active Professional Network certification (CCNP-Security, CCNA, HPE Aruba Networking Certified Professional – Switching, etc.)
- Experience with one or more networking vendors: Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, etc.
- One of the following DoD8140 Certifications: SecurityX/CASP+, CCNA, CCNP Security, CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional), GCED (GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender), GCIA (GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst), GCLD (GIAC Cloud Security Essentials), GDSA (GIAC Defensible Security Architecture), GFACT (GIAC Foundational Cybersecurity Technologies)
- 10 or more years of experience in engineering
- MA/MS= 10 years; BS=12 years

Wage Information: Target salary range: $133,000.00 - $165,000.00. The salary range displayed is an estimate only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements.
