CSA Estimator
About the role
We are seeking a CSA Estimator to join our team in Atlanta, GA, Alexandria, VA, New York, NY, Houston, TX, Austin, TX, Dallas, TX, Tampa, FL, Denver, CO or any other location where there is an AtkinsRealis office. This role is a hybrid and will require you to come to the office 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes blueprints and other documents and prepares detailed cost estimates
- Performs accurate quantity takeoffs of available design documents
- Led the development of conceptual and feasibility cost model estimates utilizing historic benchmarking information and industry experience in order to develop complete early stage cost estimate forecasting
- Obtains accurate and up to date pricing information from databases, contractors, suppliers, etc. to utilize in estimates
- Reviews inputted estimate takeoff information in CATO for specific disciplines in order to provide check to assess accuracy and suitability for project type and specific project requirements
- Reviews and finalizes estimate unit cost pricing to reflect current market conditions and specific project logistics
- Reviews historic benchmark cost information and highlights variances
- Works with architects and engineers to develop clear understanding of project scope during preparation of estimate
- Develops relationships with members of A/E firms and project team members
- Prepares cost reconciliation between two or more estimates and explain variance cost drivers
- Performs such other duties as the Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying or a related engineering field, plus minimum 4 years or relevant experience
- Provide high level cost estimates for various cost studies, and projects for Transportation Industrial, Manufacturing or Commercial projects
- Work independently with PA engineers to provide cost estimates and reconcile with contractor bids
- Fully proficient in MS Excel, On-Screen takeoff and SharePoint document control

- Fluent in MS Excel, On- Screen takeoff and SharePoint document control

- Proficient in using construction estimating software

Pay
Expected compensation range is between $100,000 - $120,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
Schedule
This role is a hybrid and will require you to come to the office 3 days a week.
