About the role
The Cryptography Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cryptographic solutions to enhance product security and cybersecurity measures.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement secure cryptographic algorithms and protocols
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses on cryptographic systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cryptographic solutions into products
- Stay updated with the latest cryptographic standards and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in cryptography or cybersecurity
- Experience with cryptographic algorithms such as AES, RSA, ECC, etc.
- Knowledge of cryptographic standards like NIST, ISO, and FIPS
- Experience with cryptographic libraries and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms and virtualization technologies
- Experience with DevSecOps practices
- Experience with threat modeling and risk assessment
- Experience with penetration testing and ethical hacking
Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, etc.
- Experience with cryptographic analysis tools and frameworks
- Understanding of blockchain technology and its cryptographic principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
