About the role
This is a skilled position involving maintenance and operation of company conveyor and crushing equipment.
Responsibilities
- Thorough mechanical knowledge of crusher and related equipment.
- Analyzes malfunctions and repairs and rebuilds conveyors and crushing equipment.
- Examines parts for damage or excessive wear.
- Welds broken parts and structural members and other items as necessary using stick welding processes.
- Knowledge of layout according to blueprints.
- Fix belts and machinery.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Currently valid welding certifications.
- DOT Medical Card required.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Work Environment
- Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions; and extreme cold and/or heat.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
