Cruise Business Development Manager (USA Located)
Job Overview:
We are looking for a driven sales executive to continue our expansion into the cruise market in the USA. OmniAccess already has a strong foothold in the US cruise market — and we're looking for the person who's going to take it further. You'll step into an established role with active deals in motion, a leadership team that opens doors, and the backing of a proven GTM.
About the Role
Based in Miami (or Fort Lauderdale), you'll lead OmniAccess's cruise business development efforts across the United States, covering the full spectrum from major cruise corporations to boutique and expedition operators. You'll inherit a warm book of business with a deal already in motion, work alongside leadership who have deep industry relationships and will get you in the room, and have the autonomy to grow the market the way you see it.
Responsibilities
- Own the pipeline
- Identify, qualify, and develop new cruise accounts across the US market, large lines and boutique operators alike.
- Take over and advance an existing pipeline.
- Drive the full sales cycle from first conversation to signed contract.
- Keep CRM airtight, every conversation, every opportunity, every stage.
- Build the relationships
- Leverage your industry network and develop new relationships at the Director, VP and C-level within cruise lines.
- Represent OmniAccess at industry events, trade shows, and expert panels (Seatrade, Cruise360, etc.).
- Partner with our Solutions Architecture and Sales Engineering teams to craft proposals that actually win.
- Drive the strategy
- Feed market intelligence back to the team, what are customers asking for, what are competitors doing, where's the next opportunity?
- Contribute to the US go-to-market strategy and help shape how OmniAccess positions itself in the cruise segment.
- Report regularly to leadership on pipeline status, opportunities, and market dynamics.
Qualifications and Experience
- Have 5+ years in B2B sales or business development in the cruise, maritime, or connectivity space.
- Know the cruise industry, ideally you have contacts at Royal Caribbean, MSC, Norwegian, Windstar, or similar.
- Have some technical background or fluency: you don't need to be an engineer, but you can hold your own in a conversation about managed services or networks.
- Have a track record of working complex, multi-stakeholder deals with long cycles, and closing them.
- Be based in Miami or Fort Lauderdale, or ready to be.
- Regular travel is expected (as required to perform duties when necessary and approved).
Desired Requirements
- Have experience selling managed network, SD-WAN, cybersecurity, or IT managed services.
- Be known at the industry events, someone who walks into Seatrade and gets recognized.
Why Join Us
- Full-time, permanent position with competitive salary.
- Performance-based commission (structure discussed during interview process).
- Flexible working hours.
- Access to private health insurance from day one.
- Be part of a 2025 Certified Great Place to Work®.
- Trips to our HQ in Palma de Mallorca.
- Opportunity to lead a strategic exploration unit within a global leader in maritime and enterprise communication solutions.
- Innovation-Driven Environment: Be part of Marlink’s commitment to delivering next-generation solutions in connectivity and digital transformation.
- Global Exposure: Work with diverse, talented teams across different regions and sectors.
- Professional Development: Access to training, conferences, and resources to enhance skills and knowledge.
Career Growth
- An opportunity to work in a high-growth area within a leading network solutions provider.
