CRTC-Auto Tech/Shop Manager

Up to $27.00 per hour, 5 hours per day / 177 days per year.

About the role

We are seeking a dependable, safety-conscious Part-Time Shop Manager to support the Construction Trades instructor while assisting students with hands-on projects and daily shop operations in a Career and Technical Education (CTE) setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Construction Trades instructor with hands-on projects and daily shop operations.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and productive learning environment for high school students.
• Lift, carry, and move tools, materials, and equipment commonly used in a construction shop.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant construction industry experience.
• General knowledge of multiple construction disciplines; a strong background in carpentry is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of workplace safety standards and practices.
• Ability to work effectively with high school-aged students.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
