About the role

We are seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures ordered by a physician.
Medical gas administration, aerosol therapy, obtaining and analyzing blood specimens, performing patient testing, operating and maintaining various types of respiratory and cardiopulmonary equipment.
Assisting with cardiopulmonary resuscitation, providing patient education, monitoring equipment and patient response to therapy.
Completing patient documentation in the patient and departmental records, to include all computer based documentation.
Cleaning equipment and maintaining safety and infection control practices.
Accepting other job responsibilities as deemed reasonable by the Director/Supervisor or designee.

Qualifications

Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
(NBRC-CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT-State)
Certified Respiratory Therapist, or (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner, or Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
