As a Project Delivery Lead Security Engineer II, you will strengthen enterprise endpoint security operations and improve the organization's ability to detect, respond to, and contain threats across diverse environments.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, triage, and respond to endpoint security alerts and incidents using CrowdStrike Falcon or similar EDR/XDR tools.
  • Support the administration of the endpoint security platform through sensor deployment, policy configuration, host grouping, exclusions, and response actions.
  • Troubleshoot endpoint security issues across Windows, macOS, and server platforms.
  • Contribute to containment and remediation efforts such as host isolation, indicator blocking, and quarantine support.
  • Coordinate closely with infrastructure, support, and security operations teams, leveraging SIEM, SOAR, ITSM, and related workflows to drive timely, consistent incident response and operational excellence.

About the Team

Deloitte's Government & Public Services (GPS) practice is designed for impact, serving federal, state, and local government clients as well as public higher education institutions. Our Cyber Defense & Resilience offering helps clients defend against advanced threats by transforming security operations, monitoring technology, data analytics, and threat intelligence. The team provides rapid crisis and cyber incident response, ensuring clients can be ready for, respond to, and recover from business disruptions.

The Project Delivery Talent Model is designed for professionals with specialized skills that align to a current client need. Team members focus on delivering services to clients without additional expectations related to business development or promotion. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role.
  • 6+ years of experience within the following:
    • Supporting endpoint security, Endpoint Detection and Response, or Extended Detection and Response tools in enterprise environments.
    • Monitoring, triaging, and responding to endpoint security alerts and incidents using CrowdStrike Falcon or similar endpoint protection platforms.
    • Administering CrowdStrike Falcon, including sensor deployment, policy configuration, host grouping, exclusions, and response actions.
    • Troubleshooting endpoint security issues across Windows, macOS, and server environments.
    • Incident containment and remediation activities including host isolation, indicator blocking, quarantine support, and coordination with infrastructure or support teams.
    • Working with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR), Information Technology Service Management (ITSM), and security operations workflows.

Pay

The wage range for this role is $110,700 to $198,400, taking into account factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and business needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to program rules, where awards depend on individual and organizational performance.
