Crossdock Forklift Operator Conversion

Responsibilities

• Accurately receive and upload trailers
• Physical breakdown of merchandise
• Build and stretch wrap pallets
• Shuttling merchandise between receiving and shipping areas
• Laydown and storage of merchandise
• Loading of product into shipping trailers
• Cooking of inbound and outbound storage freight
• Sorting and distributing pallets within the warehouse
• Using handheld units to verify merchandise distribution
• Operating powered equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, tugger, and clamp attachments

Requirements

• Previously forklift experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs without assistance, and above 30 lbs with assistance
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment which includes heat, cold, noise, and dust
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and operate powered equipment as needed
