About the role

Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big picture thinking to make an impact on national security? You understand your customers’ environment and how to develop the right systems for their mission. Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution.

As a Cross Domain Systems Engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape customer missions by leading an engineering team in the development and deployment of digital cross domain solutions. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technological solutions. You will lead customer engagement to capture, define, and understand user and security requirements, decompose hardware, software, interface, and security control requirements, coordinate with stakeholders throughout system development and fielding activities, coordinate and plan system integration, test, and deployment. You will support efforts to accredit systems following the Risk Management Framework. You will help plan security improvements to systems and team processes to address Raise the Bar (RTB) Cross-Domain security objectives. You will lead efforts to plan, design, and implement cross-domain data flows, help users understand and define their data schemas, and help define and validate appropriate data handling and filtering policies. You will lead efforts to plan and provide user training and drive user adoption of the new systems.

On our team, you’ll be able to broaden your skillset into areas like Cross Domain technologies, Cloud technologies, Agile lifecycle, and cybersecurity. Grow your skills by merging systems engineering, cybersecurity, and strong customer engagement to create successful mission platforms.
