Job Responsibilities

• Unload trucks in sequence based on delivery schedule and routing using at least 5 load bars per route to ensure a secure delivery.
• Distributes finished load sheets to the inside of the trailer, to the dispatcher, and to the driver.
• Selects product on heavy nights or if understaffed.
• Keeps area clean and debris out of work area during work hours and operates pallet jack in safe and efficient manner.
• Inspects assigned jack for safety issues and turns on single and dual temp trailers refrigerator units at the proper times.
• Reports any discrepancies in pallet counts, missing repack or unsound pallets to the lead, supervisor or manager and reports any violation of company policy to supervisor or lead
• Performs duties in accordance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies and procedures, as appropriate for location

Job Requirements

• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
• Experience Previous Warehouse/Selecting experience preferred

Physical Environment/Demands

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently.
• Exposed to temperatures ranging from -20 degrees below zero to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Perishable Operation and 37 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Grocery Operation.
• Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist, and hand movements required for maintenance and service procedures.
• Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination, and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties.

Monday – Friday, available start times of 6:00am, 12:00pm, & 9:00pm (Overnight premium of $1.25/hour - 9:00pm start only)
