About the role
The Cross-Category Marketing & Operations Lead will serve as the central point of connectivity across the Integrated Demand Office. This individual will drive cross-category marketing coordination, manage integrated workstreams and ensure alignment among Unilever, Walmart and WPP Unite stakeholders.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead cross-category marketing planning and identify high-impact opportunities across Unilever’s Walmart portfolio.
- Serve as the primary project management lead for the Integrated Demand Office, coordinating workstreams, timelines, dependencies and deliverables.
- Connect Unilever brand, digital commerce, retail marketing, sales, supply chain and media teams with relevant Walmart stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain integrated planning calendars across major initiatives, launches and cultural moments.
- Organize and facilitate team stand-ups, quarterly planning sessions and senior stakeholder meetings.
- Establish clear status reporting, decision-making and escalation processes across the team.
- Identify, document and distribute performance learnings across categories and functions.
- Cooky response to cultural, shopper or commerce signals create an opportunity for activation.
- Ensure short-term agile initiatives remain connected to longer-term strategic priorities and category-growth objectives.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in retail marketing, brand management, shopper marketing, commercial marketing operations or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder programs or integrated workstreams.
- Strong knowledge of the CPG retail environment, including retail media, digital commerce, merchandising and in-store activation.
- Experience partnering with major retailers; Walmart experience is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to influence and align senior stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong project management, prioritization and operational problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate complex information into clear plans, actions and executive-level communications.
- Exceptional presentation, communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, embedded client environment.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $105,000 - $155,000*exact compensation will be determined based on individual experience.
