About the Role

Prepare, cook, bake, and serve a variety of foods in quantity at an assigned school site. Assist in other food preparation duties as directed. Maintain facilities in a clean and sanitary condition. Train and provide work direction to others.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
• Complete training course for certification of beginning school food personnel as prescribed in 702 KAR 6:045
• Meet the requirements for a criminal record check as specified by Kentucky state law
• Meet health requirements as specified in district personnel policy
• National and state criminal history background check (required by state law for this type of employment)
• Letter from the Cabinet for Health and Family Services stating the employee is clear to hire based on no findings of substantiated child abuse or neglect (required by state law)
