Responsibilities
- Develops anesthesia plans for patients and administers anesthesia under the medical direction of an Anesthesiologist.
- Monitors patients' physiological condition during anesthesia and initiates corrective actions as necessary or as directed by the physician.
- Performs pre- and post-operative evaluations on assigned cases and documents findings in patient charts and required records.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved CRNA program.
- Certified by the National Board of Certification for Nurse Anesthetists.
- Federal and State Controlled Substance Prescribing Authority.
- BLS certification.
- Mandatory Reporter status.
