CRNA - Per Diem $ 225.00 per hour

About the Role

Responsible for preoperative assessment of patient status and ordering of preoperative medication under supervision, with administration of drugs to produce sedation or anesthesia. Duties include inserting arterial and venous catheters, monitoring the patient during anesthesia until the patient regains consciousness, and frequent involvement with the Code 88 team for resuscitation.

Requirements

• Current requirements for CRNA graduates
• Current NJ-RN license and AANA Council eligible/certified
• Minimum requirement of current ACLS
• Maintains CEU status according to AANA Council on Re-Certification
• Confirmation of credentials must be communicated to hospital Credentials Committee
• APN certification, or pending application as required
• 0 to 3 months of experience; preferred previous cardiac anesthesia experience

Work Interactions

Regular internal and/or external contacts requiring tact, discretion, and persuasion to obtain information, willing action, or consent. Performs duties following established procedures and reports to an immediate supervisor.

Pay

The rate for this per diem position is $225.00. Base rate determination may consider factors such as years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity.
