    About the Role

    ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health North Hospital, located in Roanoke Rapids, NC are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join their surgical services program. Applicants must have a current certification as a registered nurse anesthetist.

    ECU Health is a provider of high quality surgical services across eastern, North Carolina.

    Responsibilities

    • Provides anesthesia care under the supervision of anesthesiologists
    • Assesses patients’ medical history and physical condition
    • Administers anesthesia medications and monitors patients during procedures
    • Monitors vital signs and adjusts anesthesia as necessary
    • Collaborates with surgical teams to ensure smooth operation of procedures
    • Ensures compliance with safety protocols and standards
    • Communicates effectively with patients and families
    • Participates in ongoing professional development and education

    Requirements

    • Current certification as a registered nurse anesthetist
    • BLS & ACLS Certifications Required

    Qualifications

    • Graduate from an accredited CRNA program
    • At least 2 years of clinical experience as a CRNA
    • Experience working in a variety of surgical settings
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
