About the role
Locum CRNA providing anesthesia services in an inpatient setting near Clay, MO.
Responsibilities
- Support anesthesia for diverse surgeries including orthopedic, neuro, pediatric, thoracic, and obstetric cases.
- Perform general, regional, spinal, epidural, and trauma anesthesia techniques, including nerve blocks with x-ray guidance.
- Manage ventilation, acute volume and blood pressure issues, and place central, arterial, and PA lines.
- Serve as backup call in a medical direction model, assisting the primary anesthesiologist with OR and OB cases.
Key Duties
- Provide anesthesia support and assist with complex surgeries.
- Perform regional blocks and manage post-op epidurals and pain management techniques.
- May be asked for backup call duties.
Qualifications & Skills
- Active MO CSR license, ACLS, BNDD.
- Fellowship preferred.
- Experience with EMR and paper charting.
- Must have experience with complex anesthesia procedures, regional techniques, and airway management.
