About the role
We are seeking a qualified CRNA to provide anesthesia services in an outpatient orthopedic setting under MD supervision.
Responsibilities
- Performing pre-anesthesia assessments and obtaining patient consent.
- Discussing anesthetic options, risks, and managing induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
- Monitoring patient physiological conditions and performing clinical interventions as needed.
- Working within established protocols and maintaining patient safety during surgical procedures.
Qualifications
- Board certification in anesthesia.
- Prescriptive authority.
- Ability to perform comprehensive anesthesia services and clinical interventions.
Work setting and supervision
The clinician will operate in a supervised model with a 1:4 MD to CRNA ratio, managing cases independently while under supervision. The work involves day shifts in an on-site outpatient setting, focusing on orthopedic surgeries.
