About the Role
This position is for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) working independently in a community hospital setting, providing anesthesia care across diverse surgical specialties.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for general surgery, orthopedics, urology, ophthalmology, OB/GYN, ENT, pain management, and endoscopy procedures.
- Manage preoperative and postoperative patient care.
- Perform regional anesthesia techniques, including spinals, epidurals, and nerve blocks.
- Work within an autonomous practice model.
- Conduct scheduled OR cases and support quality patient care.
- Participate in a rotating call schedule covering evenings and nights.
- Collaborate with a small, dedicated anesthesia team in a three-surgical-room environment.
Requirements
- Board certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Proficiency in regional anesthesia and adult patient care.
- Ability to work independently within an organized perioperative workflow.
Schedule
- On-site role with a predictable workflow.
- Call responsibilities every third weeknight and every fourth weekend.
Additional details: No prescriptive authority is required. The caseload varies with a focus on adult patients.
