CRNA - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the Role

This position is for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) working independently in a community hospital setting, providing anesthesia care across diverse surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for general surgery, orthopedics, urology, ophthalmology, OB/GYN, ENT, pain management, and endoscopy procedures.
• Manage preoperative and postoperative patient care.
• Perform regional anesthesia techniques, including spinals, epidurals, and nerve blocks.
• Work within an autonomous practice model.
• Conduct scheduled OR cases and support quality patient care.
• Participate in a rotating call schedule covering evenings and nights.
• Collaborate with a small, dedicated anesthesia team in a three-surgical-room environment.

Requirements

• Board certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
• Proficiency in regional anesthesia and adult patient care.
• Ability to work independently within an organized perioperative workflow.

Schedule

• On-site role with a predictable workflow.
• Call responsibilities every third weeknight and every fourth weekend.

Additional details: No prescriptive authority is required. The caseload varies with a focus on adult patients.
