About the role
We are seeking a qualified CRNA to provide comprehensive anesthesia services in a busy hospital setting. The role involves managing a diverse case mix, including general, neuro, ortho, OB, urology, GYN, ophthalmology, and endoscopy procedures during day shifts with flexible scheduling options.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessments, obtain consent, and educate patients
- Handle induction, maintenance, emergence, and monitoring of anesthesia
- Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care with 100% hands-on involvement
- Participate in call coverage and holiday shifts
- Manage patients of all ages in an on-site environment
Work is performed under a medically directed care team with MD supervision at a 1:4 ratio.
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Current NBCRNA certification
- Ability to obtain a Virginia license
