CRNA - Locum Coverage

About the Role

This position is for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) providing autonomous anesthesia services in an operating room setting. The clinician must have prescriptive authority and work independently without supervision or medical direction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia care for diverse surgical procedures
• Manage all aspects of patient anesthesia before, during, and after surgery
• Work autonomously in a perioperative environment
• Handle variable case loads with an emphasis on safety and quality

Requirements

• CRNA certification with prescriptive authority
• Ability to work independently in an autonomous practice model
• Experience with all patient ages and surgical procedures
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia protocols and patient safety

Schedule

Day shifts, typically 4x10 or 5x8 shifts. No call responsibilities.

Location & Assignment

Operating room facility in Kansas. Locum tenens assignment with credentialing estimated to take 4-5 weeks.

Work environment: Organized perioperative workflows with autonomous practice.
