About the Role

We are seeking full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for our Torresdale, Frankford, and Bucks campuses. Our hospitals handle a wide range of cases, including complex procedures, and feature centers of excellence in orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, urology, and gastroenterology. We are a Level II trauma center with state-of-the-art equipment and use Epic EMR.

We offer a variety of shifts (8, 10, and 12 hours) and a well-established team with excellent work-life balance. Mentorship is available for new graduates.

$75,000 sign-on bonus for a three-year commitment.

Responsibilities

• Participates in pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation.
• Provides intraoperative general anesthesia care in collaboration with attending Anesthesiologist.
• Induces general anesthesia and maintains anesthetics at required levels.
• Implements, monitors, and adjusts patient’s physiologic condition as appropriate for the type of anesthesia and specific patient needs.
• Transfers responsibility for care of the patient to other qualified providers post-operatively to assure continuity of care and patient safety.
• Provides professional and resuscitative care until the patient has regained control of vital functions.
• Administers spinal, epidural, caudal, and nerve block anesthesia.
• Supports departmental and operating room procedures to promote patient satisfaction and quality.
• Participates in additional areas of responsibility within the expertise of the individual CRNA.
• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the organization.
