CRNA (Full Time)

About the role

Washington Gastroenterology (WAGI) is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our endoscopy ambulatory surgery center. The CRNA is responsible for patient care before, during, and after procedures, including assessment, anesthesia administration, pain management, and post-operative recovery.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessment for planned anesthesia treatment and reviews patient medical records.
• Communicates with patients regarding the anesthetic plan and addresses questions or concerns.
• Prepares patient IV and sets up monitoring devices (e.g., blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation).
• Monitors patient status throughout the procedure and adjusts medications as needed.
• Assists nursing staff during patient recovery, assessing for adverse effects of anesthesia.
• Responds to patient emergencies using standard procedures for airway management, emergency drugs, fluids, and life support.
• Manages patient records and restocks carts and supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (required).
• Master’s Degree or equivalent in Nurse Anesthetist (required).
• Current NBCRNA Certification.
• Current ACLS and BLS Certifications.
• Current Washington State APRN and RN Licensure.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an unsupervised clinical setting (preferred).
• Anesthesia experience in a fast-paced outpatient setting (preferred).

Physical Activities and Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and kneel occasionally.
• Ability to assist patients with positioning and support weight.
• Ability to grasp small objects and manipulate medical instruments.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the waist.
• Frequent lifting of 10 pounds; occasional lifting of 25 pounds.
• Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Local travel in the region may be required.

Pay

This is a salaried position with an anticipated compensation range of $230,000–$300,000. Eligible for annual discretionary bonuses.
