About the role

This role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia services in a busy level 3 trauma center, supporting both inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures across multiple specialties such as orthopedic, spine, neurological, and obstetric cases.

Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia with an autonomous practice model, primarily during day shifts with possible backup call coverage.
• Manage a caseload of 3-8 patients per day, including diverse procedures requiring regional, thoracic, pediatric, and obstetric anesthesia.
• Work independently with prescriptive authority and minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Board certification in anesthesia.
• Ability to work autonomously within established protocols.
• Experience with a variety of surgical cases and anesthesia techniques.
