CRNA - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - PRN

Position Overview Provides anesthesia services under the supervision of an anesthesiologist for a variety of surgical procedures and diagnostic tests. Participates in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students, adhering to departmental policies and procedures. Works independently and collaboratively within a team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs to deliver high-quality patient care across diverse surgical specialties in a busy hospital setting. Responsibilities Administer anesthesia during procedures Support clinical teaching of students Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate empathy Adapt to fast-paced, changing healthcare environments Handle emergency and critical situations effectively Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program Alabama CRNA license Current BLS and ACLS certifications Self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently, demonstrate flexibility, and exhibit professionalism in diverse settings
