CRNA - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - PRN

About the role

Provides anesthesia services under the supervision of an anesthesiologist for a variety of surgical procedures and diagnostic tests. Contributes to the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students and collaborates with a team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs to deliver high-quality patient care across multiple surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia according to department policies and procedures.
• Participate in patient care, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
• Support clinical education and training of students.
• Adapt to diverse tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• Alabama CRNA license, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage responsibilities, and handle emergency situations.
• Demonstrates flexibility, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
