About the role

The role involves providing anesthesia under an anesthesiologist's supervision for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests. It includes participating in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality anesthesia care in inpatient and outpatient settings across various specialties
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Participate in clinical education and training of nurse anesthesia students

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program
• Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association
• Work experience cannot replace education requirements
