About the role

Blue Ridge Surgery Center, established in 1985 on Blue Ridge Road in Raleigh, NC, is an 8‑bed ambulatory surgery center that has grown to six operating rooms and two procedure rooms, spanning 13,000 square feet. Staffed by 80 professionals, including many long‑tenured teammates, the center is committed to high‑quality surgery services that deliver superior patient experience and clinical outcomes, with a foundation built on training, education, and continuous improvement of the work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide full spectrum of outpatient anesthesia—orthopedics, cataracts, retinas, ENT pediatrics, and GYN.
• Perform pre‑anesthesia assessment.
• Obtain and/or verify patient consent.
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor the patient’s physiological condition.
• Perform clinical interventions as needed.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree from an Accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program.
• Comply with American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants licensure guidelines.
• Schedule: No call, weekends, or holiday work.

Pay

Hourly rate: $175/hr.
