About the role

This position will work both at Waldo Hospital in Belfast, Maine and at Pen Bay Hospital in Rockport, Maine. MaineHealth is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a growing team of collaborative CRNA's and Anesthesiologists.

Responsibilities

• Work with team-oriented perioperative support staff and surgeons
• Support a variety of service lines including General Surgery, Orthopedics, OB/GYN (C-Sections only, no epidural placements), Endoscopy, healthy Pediatric ENT, Podiatry, Ophthalmology and Urology
• No evening, weekend, call or holiday requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years of CRNA experience preferred
• Demonstrates current competency in the clinical responsibilities for which the candidate applies
• Current State of Maine Professional Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license
• Current PALS, BLS and ACLS certification
• Current certification by the National Board of Certification & Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists
• Membership in the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists is recommended

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year school or university
• Three to five years related experience and/or training
• Graduate of a program of nurse anesthesia education accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor
