Critical Facility Technician
What's the Job?
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot critical facility infrastructure and equipment.
Coordinate and oversee work performed by technicians, contractors, and vendors.
Operate and support critical systems including generators, UPS systems, switchgear, cooling systems, and power distribution equipment.
Analyze operational performance, generate reports, and support risk mitigation initiatives.
Assist with facility upgrades, capacity planning, inventory management, and efficiency improvement projects.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree, technical degree, Military training, Trade School certification, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 0-2 years of experience in facilities operations, maintenance, engineering, data centers, or a related technical environment.
- Background in electrical, mechanical, facilities, maintenance, or operations disciplines.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including rotating 12-hour shifts after the initial training period.

Requirements
Location: Sterling, VA (Onsite)
Occasional travel between local sites (approximately 10 miles)
Pay
Pay Range: $30.00 - $33.00/hour
Schedule
Training Period: Monday-Friday (Flexible 40-hour workweek)
Operations Schedule: 12-hour shifts (5:30 AM - 6:00 PM)
Front Half: Sunday-Tuesday + alternating Wednesdays
Back Half: Thursday-Saturday + alternating Wednesdays
