Critical Care/Trauma Physician

Role: ICU Nocturnist Physician responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients during night shifts in a hospital setting. Responsibilities Include Evaluating and managing critically ill patients in the ICU, performing procedures such as intubation and line placements.Offering medical consultation to healthcare staff and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care.Interpreting diagnostic data, educating patients and families about conditions and treatments, and ensuring accurate medical documentation.Providing clinical leadership, mentoring junior staff, and participating in quality improvement initiatives and research.Responding to emergencies promptly, coordinating with rapid response teams, and ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and institutional policies. Qualifications And Skills MD or DO from an accredited institution, with board certification or eligibility in Critical Care Medicine.Valid active medical license in Florida.2-3 years of ICU experience preferred.Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
